Dr. Tracy Johannsen is a native Montanan. She and her three siblings were raised on a wheat farm on the high plains in the northern part of the state. She attended Montana State University and graduated magna cum laude.
Dr. Johannsen was pleased to be accepted to the University of Washington School of Medicine and was able to stay in Bozeman a fifth year in the UW’s regionalized medical education program. She then relocated to Seattle to complete her medical degree followed by specialty training at the University of Washington. Dr. Johannsen has been in private practice since completing her training and is a founding partner of Northwest Women’s Healthcare. Her clinical expertise includes normal and complicated pregnancies and women’s healthcare in all stages of life. Dr. Johannsen is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology, and is a Fellow of the American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
She has found the personal relationships she has been privileged to share with her patients the most fulfilling part of the practice of medicine.
Dr. Johannsen lives on Queen Anne and loves her time with her two children, her friends, and her dog. She enjoys travel and various volunteer activities. When possible, she returns to her Montana home to ski, golf, hike and spend time with family.
